New AEO-ANVISA certification brings benefits to AEO importers

 

In a resolution published on Monday, February 26, 2024, in the Official Gazette of the Union, the Certification Program of the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) was established in the Brazilian Authorized Economic Operator Program – OEA Program.

To obtain certification, foreign mobile database  trade operators must have the OEA-Conformity (OEA-C) Certification, any level, and OEA-Security (OEA-S). Among other requirements provided for in the legislation, interested parties must:

Request your membership;


>>>>Have a history of foreign trade operations involving goods of health interest for at least 12 (twelve) months, in the category of interest;
Have a valid and up-to-date Company Operating Authorization (AFE) to import or manufacture the class of products for which you wish to obtain certification;
Have a history of import processes with a percentage above 90% (ninety percent) of approval in the last 12 (twelve) months of the certification request protocol, in the category of interest;
As an importer, only operators acting as direct importers of products under their regularization authority in the national Health Surveillance system may be certified in the OEA-Integrated Anvisa Program.
