How productive does Facebook at Work make you?

Facebook is designed to capture and retain the attention of users. You could even call it addictive. Checking Facebook has become a kind of automatism and the average Dutch person spends an hour a day on the social medium . We receive many notifications on our smartphones and are afraid of missing something, so we often cannot resist checking regularly, without a clear goal. How desirable is such an addictive medium in the workplace? An internal collaboration tool  create a better future togetheris intended to stimulate productivity and support employees when necessary. Wandering around aimlessly does the opposite and does not save time. While that is precisely the intention.

3. What do the algorithms do with your business contacts?

How will Facebook algorithms behave in a business context? It is now the case that you will see updates from connections you interact with more often, before those from less ‘close’ relationships. In work environments, the result will be that you will mainly come into contact with colleagues you already know well. Shouldn’t an intranet stimulate the development of new connections? Also, posts with many likes and comments get more attention. Undesirable on a platform with a business purpose, because the fact that a message is not popular does not mean that it is unimportant. Sometimes the opposite is even true.

4. How Confusing is Facebook in the Workplace?

Another objection you can make to Facebook at Work, compared to other collaboration tools, is    marketing list  that it can be confusing to use . Facebook is trying to differentiate between private and work. The employee version will be available in a shade of white instead of the characteristic blue. The rank high on google service is standalone and has its own app. The private profile is also separate from the work profile.

Imagine this: wild party pics suddenly visible to all 300 of your colleagues.
