Taco Bell on Snapchat

Taco Bell’s Snapchat adventure is a great success. On May 1, 2013, a striking Tweet from Taco Bell appear in which followers were ask to add the username tacobell to their list of Snapchat contacts. “We’re sending all of our friends a secret announcement tomorrow!”, it was also mention. That secret announcement turn out to be the introduction of the Beefy Crunch Burrito. The introduction receiv a lot of attention, especially because of the special way in which Taco Bell did it. Taco Bell is now seen as an example of ‘how it should be done’ on Snapchat. When Snapchat Stories was introduc, a little later in 2013, it was again TacoBell that was the first to publish short stories via the social channel .
We can no longer do without smartphones. This is also noticeable in consumer sectors such as retail, hospitality and event locations. Once connect to the internet, we have a wide range of information sources at our fingertips, regardless of time or location.
