A week later, my submitt press release was plac in a local newspaper. This was a very small piece. It also result in two registrations, which I know for sure came via the press release. In the same week and the week after, four more registrations came in via various channels that I cannot directly trace. In addition, three more registrations came via my own network. And so I had 21 registrations in three weeks. And as a nice side effect, 9 extra ‘likes’ on my Facebook page. A fun fact: given that a maximum of 14 people fit in a room, two instead of one extra mitation group were creat.

What are the tips & tricks bas on my experiences with this case?

Before you spend a lot of money on advertising to promote a local service, it’s a good idea to first look at what you  understand tacit and explicit knowledge can achieve with no- or low-budget marketing .
While you may want to attract visitors to your website or display an ad via Facebook, you can also start a like campaign for return . Plus, you may get extra likes that way.
Make sure you create your audience segments via Facebook as accurately as possible, for the highest possible conversion rate. You can always expand the audience. Or better yet, create a separate ad with exactly the same message for a different audience, so you know exactly which audience performs best.
Finally, I want to emphasize that success also depends to a large extent on the age-old law of supply and demand. So don’t get discourag if it doesn’t go as smoothly for you as in this example. There are still plenty of other no- and low-budget marketing possibilities, such as:

Using other social mia, such as Twitter and Linkin

Send an email to all your personal contacts, asking if they know anyone who might be interest (and perhaps your research shows that more and more  personal contacts might be interest too) Organizing a regional
Post notes on bulletin boards like you would at a local supermarket, coffee shop or café.
Seek cooperation with relat ‘partners’ (like in my case an osteopath and an acupuncturist). You can put business cards  search engine optimization united states america and flyers together and recommend each other. Of course you have to be convinc that they, like you, deliver good quality and can really mean something to the person who is referr. Make sure it is sincere!
